Australia Technology & Gadget Expo Event in 2017

If you consider yourself a tech freak then the Technology & Gadget Expo 2017 (TGE) held at Melbourne’s Convention and Exhibition Centre on the 19^th and 20^th of August is a must visit. The TGE is a meeting place for those who have a keen interest in all things technology or family and kids who want to enjoy a day out with thrilling product demos and be the first to find out about exciting new technology.

Things to look out for at Australia’s Technology Event Expo

Trail areas: there are 2 trail areas which allow unlimited access to two age groups for kids aged up to 16 and the other one for those over 16 years. This trailed area provides visitors with a chance to test out a wide range of electric and solar-powered vehicles, bikes and even skateboards.

Open stages: all exhibitions & technology distribution have presentations, and live demos and the TGE 2017 is no different. There will be two open stage areas which will run throughout the two-day event. Here visitors can watch live demos of some exciting new technology or hear industry experts talk about the hard work that goes behind coming up with such new breakthroughs. Also keep an ear out for prize announcements.

Netted drone area: The drone zone was first presented last year at TGE 2016 – Australia Expo, and this year it’s even better with the area being doubled in size. This is a must see for all drone and aviation enthusiasts

Dedicated Games and VR: At TGE 2017 event and expo, the makers have decided to create a dedicated area to allow visitors to enjoy some interactive fun where they can experience virtual and augmented reality technology up close. This area a must visit for all ages.

Ticket prices vary depending on how many people attend and the number of days you plan on attending.

A Single day pass ranges from $10 to $25 (only single day entry)
A Weekend pass ranges from $15 to $40 (full weekend entry)
A Family pass ranges from $60 to $100 (this is for 2 adults and 3 children)
